Congratulations Michelle and Michael! Finally!

Because of COVID-19 issues, Michelle and Michael had to wait almost 2 years for the wedding they had been dreaming of. A last-minute storm changed their plans once again and like the troopers they are, they put on their most cheerful smiles and moved indoors for a gorgeous wedding by the fireplace.

Michelle and Michael were happy and perhaps a little relieved to start their married life at last. It was an honor to serve as their wedding officiant, and I wish them a long and happy life together!

Wedding Planner Caroline Emmons of Mint to Be Weddings did a wonderful job. She handled every part of this special day with grace, and made it look easy under frustrating circumstances.

Thanks to the Separk Mansion staff for their flexibility and great work under pressure.

Kelli Conley, of yah Photography told the story in marvelous pictures while being a center of calm as the shift from an outdoor wedding to an indoor wedding happened around her.

Anna and Satya: October 2, 2021 at The Cotton Room

Wow! This was a fabulous wedding as Anna and Satya blended their cultures into their ceremony. To welcome them into one another’s families, they were each presented with a Jai Mala (flower garland) to to honor traditional Indian ways, and they lit a Unity Candle together to honor an American tradition.

Anna was very beautiful in her white wedding dress, and Satya was so handsome and dignified in his traditional Indian outfit. I feel very blessed to have been able to work with them to make their ceremony a heartfelt expression of their love for each other and their dreams for the future.

 Wishing them endless blessings.

Great job by Wedding Director, Natalie Brenner of The Cotton Room and her team had everything looking beautiful and sparkling and running smoothly to create a wonderful day for everyone.

Krista and Paxton: May 22, 2021 at Bennett Bunn Plantation

Finally married! Krista & Paxton were married in a lovely relaxed ceremony in a gazebo by a lake at Bennett Bunn Plantation. It was a perfect temperate day. I hope that makes up a bit for all they went through to get to their special day during a global pandemic.

This was quite a different affair from what they originally planned over a year ago. They made a lot of adjustments along the way, and were surrounded by close family and friends as they began the married life they have dreamed together for so long.

They are a wonderful couple doing their best to make the world a better place, and I wish them a long and happy life together!
