Megan and Corey: January 15, 2022 at The Pavilion at the Angus Barn

The top tier wedding officiants in the Research Triangle area are a very collaborative group. We stay in close contact and network with each other regularly. We are there for each other to provide backup when necessary, and this is how I ended up officiating the wedding ceremony for Megan and Corey.

Just two days before their wedding, the minister working with this bride and groom called me saying she had tested positive for COVID-19, and asked if would be able to help them. Megan and Corey are a lovely couple, and I am honored that I was able to step in and perform their wedding rites at the beautiful Pavilion at the Angus Barn.

Ketki and Sameer: December 26, 2021 at The Fairview Raleigh

Ketki and Sameer celebrated their “American” wedding at the Fairview with a small number of their family and friends.

They were very happy and excited, and they both looked gorgeous in their traditional Indian wedding clothes.

After I said “…kiss the bride,” I enjoyed watching as their families honored them with some traditional rituals of their home culture. I was glad to have the opportunity to work with them and to share this special time with Ketki and Sameer.

Soon they will be going to India for their “Indian” wedding where I understand they will have hundreds of guests and the intricate rituals can sometimes take several days. I send with them my best wishes for a very happy life together wherever they may be.

Ashley and Josh: December 12, 2021 at the Leslie-Alford-Mims House

Ashley and Josh were married on the front steps of this beautiful historic landmark that was originally a wedding gift for a bride.

Their faces were glowing with happiness and love as they said their vows to each other and shared their love story with a small group of guests. I am so grateful to have been there for them at this special time in their lives.

The couple were great to work with, and I wish them a long and happy life together!

An elegant and charming wedding venue, the historic Leslie-Alford-Mims House is located in downtown Holly Springs, NC.
